The Narrow Trail
River and his friends are excited to go on a sunrise hike. However, they have been presented with two trails - the easy trail to the sunrise viewing point or the narrow trail to the top of the mountain. Both views promise to be beautiful, but River will find that only one is satisfying in the end.

The Narrow Trail is a story inspired by Matthew 7:13-14 and personal hiking experiences. I’ve been working on it since 2022. I always knew I wanted this to be the last children’s book in my kids book series, as I transition to writing middle school and YA novels full time. In a way, The Narrow Trail is the metaphor for my company. Hard work, perseverance, love and belief that the end of the journey is worth it, is what keeps me going as I build Avior.
